NeoCity has a long way to go before it’s a cutting-edge tech district, but Osceola County is taking steps to push forward the district’s development.
The Osceola Board of County Commissioners on Jan. 13 approved a service agreement with NeoCity Links LLC, an organization working on behalf of Osceola County to recruit businesses to NeoCity. The agreement directs an additional $496,000 to the development of NeoCity, a planned tech district in Osceola, which county officials hope will attract dozens of tech firms and create more than 100,000 jobs within 50 years.
