City staff are proposing to provide a lump annual sum of $150,000 to four groups: the Canvs coworking spaces; Orlando Tech Association; FireSpring Fund, which provides seed money to startups; and Starter Studio, an accelerator program.
The Orlando Tech Association has previously gotten direct city funding through the city’s Main Street program, $35,000 in the most recent year. Read more here.
