Citrix acquires Portland startup that provides internet navigation


    Fort Lauderdale-based software company Citrix Systems announced an acquisition Monday that it says will offer customers faster and more secure access to apps and data via the “cloud” or remote work over the internet.

    P.J. Hough, chief product officer for Citrix, tweeted Monday about the acquisition, saying Portland, Ore.,-based Cedexis is a “real-time, data-driven service for dynamically optimizing the flow of traffic across public clouds, data centers, content delivery networks and internet service providers.”
