Canvs, Orlando’s first nonprofit coworking space aimed at helping tech startups, is planning to open by July.
Founder Phil Holt said the company recently finalized the lease at the Church Street Exchange Building, 101 S. Garland, which has been largely vacant for years.
Shared coworking spaces are a big trend around the United States and other western nations, with publications like Mashable and Forbes noting the increased number of such office facilities starting in early 2013. Read more here.
