Burgeoning tech-hub area continues to thrive

The Launchpad program for student entrepreneurs moved into the University of Florida’s new Infinity Hall in August.

Just four months later, the fast growth of one of its tenant companies prompted the founders to reopen their Starter Space (a hybrid between an incubator and co-work space) for more mature startups in a new location a couple blocks away.

The growth of existing technology companies in Innovation Square and interest from new ones is prompting public and private investment into new office buildings and renovation of old ones as the area between downtown and the UF campus continues to catch on with tech companies and the businesses that serve them.
