There’s a new venture capital expo coming to South Florida on Wednesday, the first ever for the Boca Raton-based Gold Coast Venture Capital Association.
Founded in 1984, the group is reorganizing and focusing on the expo to energize local investors and startups. The exhibit hall will feature booths from 18 corporate sponsors and more than 20 startup companies, FlyInStyle, Elebev, BoatSetter and AdMobilize. Corporate sponsors include West Palm Beach-based Gunster, Miami-based DS Express, and Miami-based crowdfunding platform EarlyShares.
The expo runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel in Boca Raton. Tickets are $45. For more information see the association’s website. Read more here.
