Florida’s technology economy ranks 24th among states, according to a report released Friday by the Information Technology & Information Foundation.
The study scores states on such factors as high-tech jobs, foreign investment and volume of IPOs, venture capital and patent filings. Massachusetts led all states with a score of 96.6. Mississippi was dead last at 37.7. Florida ranked in the middle, with a score of 62.7.
