The Palm Beach Tech Association — designed to unite and build the technology industry in Palm Beach County — has received funds to open a collaborative workspace for emerging entrepreneurs.
The $150,000 award is made up of $100,000 from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in Miami, $25,000 from the City of West Palm Beach’s CRA, and $25,000 from Achieve, a marketing agency.
The Palm Beach Tech Space, at 313 Datura St. in West Palm Beach, is expected to be fully operational by Oct. 3. Space can be leased for $50 to $850 a month, depending on access, dedicated desks and whether it’s a private office. Rent includes Wi-Fi, snacks and coffee, conference room use, and listing on the association’s website.
